How we choose the makers we sell
We turn down about eight applications in nine. That sounds harsh written down, so it is worth explaining what we are actually looking for, because it is not prestige and it is not price.
Small batches, honestly described
The first question we ask is how many of these you make in a month. If the answer is thousands, this is probably not the right marketplace. Every workshop here makes a narrow range of things in runs small enough that a person handles each one.
Materials with an address
We ask where the leather, the clay, the wool or the steel comes from. Makers who know the answer immediately tend to be the makers whose work lasts.
A repair policy, not a warranty card
Every maker on Nexora repairs what they sell. It changes how a thing gets designed: you build differently when you know it is coming back to your own bench.
